Play is always fun and it is a favourite activity for almost everyone. It can be any activity as long as the player feels enjoyable and fun when playing. Children develop play differently in different stages of age, they learn through play and develop important skill in their life. Children should play as much as possible especially in their early stage of life, their brain develop the most through play from 0-4 years old.
Importance of Play
Play sounds childish and useless for some traditional parents, they feel that it is wasting time and some parents do not allow their child to play and forcing them to study. However, for children aged 0-4 years old, they learn through play but not reading and studying. Play can improve children’s cognitive skill (problem solving and thought), physical skill (fine motor and gross motor), social skill (take turn and cooperate), emotional (sense of confidence), creativity (imagination) and speech (language and communication).
